Originally joining from our Canadian office, Allie brings extensive first-hand experience across Europe’s most rewarding walking and cycling routes. Her passion for active travel has taken her along classic pilgrim trails in Spain, France and Italy, cycling through the Netherlands and Croatia on bike and sail journeys, and exploring Iceland on horseback.

Allie has walked some of Europe’s great long-distance routes, including Scotland’s Great Glen Way and West Highland Way, and hiked among the dramatic peaks of the Italian Dolomites and the Julian Alps in Slovenia. She completed the Tour du Mont Blanc in 2018, sparking a lasting love of alpine trekking, and most recently added Italy’s Gran Paradiso National Park and the Peaks of the Balkans trail to her growing mountain portfolio.

Beyond Europe, Allie has travelled widely through Greece, Morocco, Turkey, New Zealand, Fiji, Vanuatu, Cuba, Mexico, Saint Lucia, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Costa Rica, Hawaii, Bali and Nepal. One of her most memorable UTracks experiences was sharing the Tulip Tour bike and barge with her mum to celebrate her 70th birthday – proof that active travel can be meaningful and accessible at every stage of life.

For Allie, the best way to connect with a destination is on foot or by bike, immersed in its landscapes and culture. Next on her list is the Portuguese Coastal Camino from Porto to Santiago, the classic Chamonix to Zermatt alpine crossing, exploring England’s Cotswolds, and trekking to Ama Dablam Base Camp in Nepal.
