Chris Papa

Chris brings a strong sense of adventure to his role, shaped by years of independent travel across Europe, the Americas, Africa and Asia. His journeys have taken him through destinations including the USA, Canada, Mexico, Colombia, South Africa, Tanzania, Rwanda, India, Nepal and Japan, along with extensive travel throughout Europe.

His passion for active travel is best reflected in his self-supported cycling journey from London to Athens - covering more than 2000km over 30 days. He has since completed variations of the same route multiple times using different overland methods, always without flying.

Chris is drawn to experiences that combine challenge and cultural immersion. Highlights from his travels include trekking to the Lost City in Colombia, hiking extensively in the mountains of Greece, and gorilla trekking in Rwanda.

He has a natural affinity for active travel, whether it’s long-distance cycling, hiking remote trails or exploring regions at a slower pace. This perspective helps him connect with travellers looking for meaningful and rewarding journeys.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys mountain biking and spending time by the water, particularly on the Greek island of Skiathos where he has spent many summers.
