Lisa recently joined the UTracks reservations team in Sydney and brings a lifelong passion for travel and cultural exploration. With French and Jordanian roots and Palestinian heritage, she grew up in several countries including Jordan, Morocco, Egypt and France before moving to Australia 11 years ago.

Travel has been a part of Lisa’s life since childhood, often accompanying her parents on trips across Europe and the Middle East. Early journeys took her to destinations such as the United States, the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Greece and Syria, sparking a curiosity about the world that continues to shape her travels today.

One of Lisa’s most memorable travel experiences was walking a section of the French Way of St James in 2022. Travelling solo from Le Puy-en-Velay to Figeac, she discovered the unique rhythm and sense of fulfilment that comes from long-distance walking journeys.

Her love of active travel began even earlier – her first multi-day hike was in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco when she was just eight years old. Outside of travel, Lisa enjoys aerial yoga (which she describes as flying in the air!), running and loves cats and a good cup of tea.
