Nat Tambolash

Nat Tambolash brings 28 years of experience in the tourism industry to her role as General Manager New Zealand, along with a lifelong passion for European travel. With a strong background in European rail and active holidays, she has helped countless travellers discover the continent at a slower, more immersive pace. Nat speaks fluent Croatian and has conversational skills in French, Italian and Spanish, giving her a deep cultural connection to many of the regions UTracks explores.

Her own UTracks experiences include cycling the Blue Danube to Vienna in Comfort and exploring the Pyrenees, while her extensive European travels have taken her through France, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Scandinavia. She has spent time in Portugal’s Douro Valley and travelled through many of the towns along the Camino routes from Porto to Santiago, gaining insight into the character and rhythm of this iconic pilgrimage. From Bavaria’s Neuschwanstein Castle to the historic cities shaped by the Habsburg dynasty, Nat has a particular interest in European history, old castles and museum collections.

Although her global adventures have included Everest Base Camp, Mount Kilimanjaro and remote regions of Central Asia, it is Europe’s blend of active exploration, layered history and regional food culture that continues to inspire her most. Nat is passionate about helping travellers choose the right European walking or cycling journey, one that connects them not just to the landscape, but to the stories behind it.
