The Princesse Royal (formerly Magnifique) was originally constructed as a seagoing sailing vessel, which explains the unique shape of the ship, before being converted to a passenger barge for inland waterways. This deluxe category barge was fully restyled and refurbished in 2010 and, during the winter of 2012/2013, extended by 14 meters. Roy van der Veen, the owner and skipper, sets high standards for atmosphere, personal service and comfort, with the aim to offer his guests an unforgettable stay on board. There are 16 cabins on the lower deck: 11 twin cabins (11m2), 4 premium twin cabins (14m2, with a small seating area) and 1 single cabin. On request the beds in most cabins can be set together as a double bed. All cabins have an ensuite bathroom with shower, toilet and basin, individually regulated air conditioning, a flat screen TV with SAT-reception, a small safe and a hair dryer. The portholes in all cabins are fixed for safety reasons. On request, an additional bed is available in some twin cabins (above one of the other beds).

On the upper deck there is a tastefully furnished salon with restaurant, bar, lounge area with wide screen TV, large windows, Wi-Fi (with unlimited data use). There are two partly covered teak wooden sun decks with chairs and tables and cycle shed (front deck), and with a whirlpool/Jacuzzi and barbecue on the aft deck.

Twin Cabin

On the lower deck there are 11 twin cabins (approx. 11m²) with 2 single beds next to each other. All cabins have a private bathroom.

Premium Twin Cabin

The lower deck also has 4 premium twin cabins (approx. 14m²) with 2 single beds next to each other and a small sitting area. A supplement applies for the premium twin cabins.

Single Cabin

There is one single cabin (approx. 8m²) and a supplement applies.
